  • At What Age Does an Adolescent Qualify for Counseling?

    We gladly provide services to individuals ranging from 2-21 years old. We provide in office counseling and telehealth.If you are seeking In Home Counseling the process requires you calling Performcare at 877-652-7624. You can request Caring Counselors as your child's home provider. The process may be extensive, but the benefit is that your child can receive in home therapy from a licensed professional without any charges.

  • How Do I Get Started With In-Home Services?

    1. Start by calling Performcare, the NJ Contracted System Administrator, at 1 (877) 652-7624.
    2. Describe the behavioral, mental, or emotional challenges that your child is facing to the Performcare Representative. You can also request Caring Counselors, Inc. to provide services for your child.
    3. Performcare will then assess if there's a need for an intervention. Caring Counselors, Inc. is informed if it's decided that your child requires an evaluation.
    4. A Licensed Clinician from Caring Counselors, Inc. will reach out to you to schedule a Psychological Evaluation/Strength and Needs assessment with both you and your child. This evaluation, conducted by the Licensed Clinician, will determine if in-home services are recommended.
    5. After completing the evaluation/assessment, it will be submitted to Performcare.
    6. Once Performcare approves the services, a clinician from Caring Counselors, Inc. will get in touch to schedule therapy sessions.
  • Do you treat adults?

    We definitely treat adults and provide support for a  wide range of issues.

  • What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

    We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. In the event an appointment is not canceled in time, you will  be charged half the out of pocket rate for the session as therapists have reserved that time just for you.
